CRASE Training for Healthcare

The Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) course, designed and built on the Avoid, Deny, Defend is a strategy developed by ALERRT in 2004 and yet there has never been specialized training specific for healthcare. Hospitals, specifically Emergency Departments, are subject to attacks from possible disgruntled family members or staff and without a plan can make wrong decisions. The course will include online and onsite training and VR simulation to help better understand timing and build muscle memory for protocols that will save lives.
